Red Bud Filter Sales & Service began in 1952. Red Nesbit and Bud
Gordon started out cleaning shopping carts for Safeway stores and changing
washable filters in a filling station in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Of course the
name came from the original owners, Red Nesbit and Bud Gordon.
In 1971 Jerry Green went to work for his father-in-law Bud Gordon and purchased the business seven years later. Over 50 years later Red Bud has seen substantial growth by hanging on those old fashioned principles that began the business. Treat the customer right every time, just like you would like to be treated and keep up with the changing times.
Red Bud has grown from that one-bay filling station to our present 33,000 square foot location, and from three employees to over 25 loyal and dedicated employees.
Yes, it was quite a beginning but look at us now.
